Inaugural Special Olympics Selangor State Basketball Games: A Day of Unity, Skill, and Triumph

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, Special Olympics Selangor marked a significant moment by hosting its inaugural State Basketball Games at Pusat Rekreasi JKKK Batu 11 in Cheras.
The event featured three unified teams battling it out in a round-robin 3x3 team basketball tournament, where every athlete demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill. Adding to the day's excitement were the individual skill competitions, which included challenging events such as the Spot Shot, Dribble, and 10M Speed Dribble.
The atmosphere buzzed with energy as the athletes were cheered on by their families, filling the venue with vibrant applause and encouragement.
Participants were divided based on age and skill levels, ensuring a fair and competitive environment. The day concluded with a celebratory medal ceremony, where winners from each division were awarded gold, silver, bronze, or position medals, recognizing their extraordinary efforts and fostering a sense of camaraderie and achievement.
